5 Minutes With My Advertisers - May 2018.

Meet my May advertisers.

It's another month and it's another set of advertisers on my sidebar for the next few weeks. If you're a long standing reader of this blog then a lot of these gals will be no stranger to you, you probably already follow them - and if you don't after all this time then really what are you playing at?

I spose it's a testament to my blogging advertising packages that these girls return month on month on month which makes my heart all happy but I really do enjoy promoting them as people I loved long before they signed up.

This month I have 4 returning advertisers who you'll know the faces and logos and blog names of and 2 new to my roundups that maybe you don't follow yet. Read on to see who we have!

5.

This hun is back for another month and has got herself the top digs as Gold advertiser for May/ Megan won't be a stranger to you I'm sure because I was waxing lyrical about how much I loved her yonks ago and now she's a regular feature here. You can read about her previous advertising posts with me from December 2016MarchApril, JuneJulySeptember , OctoberFebruaryMarch and last month too.

4.

Well I may as well kick it off with the obvious and say Megan has another kick ass bullet journal blog post this month. She always does, I always love them, you always love them and I always share them for that very reason. I am obsessed with her May journal layout and have bookmarked basically the whole post to include in next month's spread and in my next bujo which I'll start in July. You can save it for your bujo inspo here!

3.

Since the last time we spoke Megan has upped her Instagram game immensely and from one of my long standing fav accounts that's saying something. She's had some banging photo shoots with a few photographers and she's sharing the images and her cute lil face all over her feed, interspersed with shots of London, blossom and of course, the odd bujo flatlay too. Follow her here, she deserves about a million more followers.

2.

And just like that we have a snazzy little link in with one of her latest posts - a guide to shooting blog photos with a photographer. Megan covers everything from how to find a photographer, what outfits to pick, how to start feeling confident and the benefits of it for your blog. You can totally tell this gal is feeling it, the shots are the dream and they've given her blog that boost of personality and professionalism and convinced me for sure.

1.

This is the last month (at the moment) that Megan is signed up to advertise with me so make sure you're following her on all platforms to see what she's getting up to when I'm not shouting about how great she is!

Another familiar face, the gorge Bethany advertised with me in November 2016,  in AprilMayJune, July and August 2017 as Spare Oom and then she then had a huge rebrand and started advertising with me again in January of this year under B.Rambling and then again in FebruaryMarch and last month too.

4.

Bethany has been smashing posts out left right and centre this month and tbh I struggled to pick just a couple to share with you today so I'm kinda cheating. Not that long ago Bethany visited Amsterdam and she's done a few posts about her time there from what she packed to her four favourite places to the dreamiest little garden photo shoot ever.

3.

My favourite post of Bethany's of late is this one on divination and decisions. I totally agree I have seen a rise in the popularity of things like Tarot cards and found this read super interesting for Bethany's insight into it. Bethany says she believes that rather than telling the future they help guide you in the right direction which I totally can get on board with. Deffo a worth while read this weekend.

2.

And because Bethany's personal posts are always my highlight I thought I'd share another one for good measure. After a hectic week and feeling a bit grotty Bethany shared this one on taking time for herself and made a list of things she can do to take care of herself from little things like taking advantage of the nights her other half is out of the flat for some self care to 5 extra minutes in the morning. It's a timely reminder for herself and for all of us that we need to make sure we're fit and healthy and happy and to be selfish.

1.

Not sick of me yet, Bethany opted to advertise with me in June too so you'll be able to see her again next month and see what adventures she's got up to!

After saying last month that Hailey had ended her current run of advertising with me she only went and signed up again! You can read about her advertising in November and December 2016 and then again in January, FebruaryMarchSeptember, November and December in 2017 and also this year in February and March and April so there's plenty to choose from.

4.

Hailey's Instagram is always full of travel inspo and a little while back she put a poll up asking where her next location should be shots of. I voted London, not realising she'd ever been and keen to her her perspective of the city and luckily for me it won and now she's sharing away snaps of Big Ben and the like. Follow her here!

3.

I love reading Hailey's monthly round ups and she shared the latest one just a few days ago. I really liked reading this one as after a difficult time it sounded like Hailey had a lot of really great stuff happen this month like journalism school, a big old spring clean and some time with friends and some chill out time. And of course that obligatory JT 'it's gonna be May' GIF. Read Hailey's goodbye to April here!

2.

Gonna cheat again and share multiple blog posts in one segment but it's too good an opportunity to miss. Hailey was tagged in 100 blogger truths and separated it into two posts and reading all the questions and answers was a fun little insight into her life and getting to know the person behind the blog. Read part 1 here and part 2 over here!

1.

Next month you'll be seeing Hailey again in June where she's snapped up the top dog spot of Gold advertiser! Safe to say you'll be seeing a lot of her for the next few months.

You definitely will have seen Ellen from E L Feel Goods Vintage because she's been advertising with me since the year dot. You can read about her way back in  AprilMayJuneJulyAugustSeptemberNovember in 2017 and January , February and March of this year plus last month too!

4.

With the incoming GDPR rules for people's data it's becoming more prevalent than ever to make sure your website is working within the law so Ellen's post on the matter is more timely than ever. She shares three tips for new and experienced bloggers to make sure you're sticking to the rules and it's well worth a refresher even if you think you are.

3.

And whilst we're on the topic of sharing tips, my favourite read last month was how to boost your Pinterest SEO. Pinterest is the biggest source of traffic to my blog so I am always keen to utilise it to it's best. So many people don't use Pinterest to aid their blog but really the tips are so easy and simple and don't require too much effort on your part - my fav type of blog tip. Read Ellen's post here!

2.

I mentioned this before but it's worth talking about again - Ellen has her own shop full of prints and jewellery and lifestyle bits and bobs. She's got a tab on her blog you can access and support her business!

1.

Of course you'll probably know that you'll be seeing Ellen for a long time still to come as she's signed up to advertise with me for the whole rest of the year so she's here right through to December for you all to follow!

And after 4 old hands, a new face! Introducing to those of you who don't know, this is Saph from Simply Saph blog. I've been following her for a while now (I think maybe started as a fan of her bujo like I do most people!) and if you don't know her she's got a gorge little baba who you'll see cropping up amongst lifestyle posts, fitness posts and some minimalism.

4.

Saph's latest post is a hysterectomy Q&A - something you might not expect from a gal in her early twenties. Saph shared the reasons behind her emergency surgery back when she had her son but has now shared a few answers to the burning questions you maybe wanted to ask. It's not an easy read, she's incredible for sharing it and it's deffo worth the read.

3.

Whenever I have a new advertiser I always do a little blog tour and Saph's blog really reflects her life - and there's bound to be something you want to binge on. You can choose from baby diaries, life after hysterectomy, lifestyle, minimalism, reviews and fitness and there's plenty in the ol' archives to get your teeth stuck into!

2.

So I said above that I think I first found Saph through bullet journaling so it'd be rude not to share one from the archives wouldn't it? I always love a good nosey into a bullet journal and I really enjoyed revisiting this one. I always find inspo from people's journals and I really like the way Saph did her blog schedule layout. I have always done mine as a traditional calendar format but maybs next month I'll try a vertical spread and see how we go.

1.

If you don't follow Saph already on Instagram you can catch up with her here! From pics of her son to beauty to lifestyle to tatts - there's a bit of everything and her latest pic of the cutest mama bear pin made me spend 20 minutes on the Old English Company website so if that's not an influencer at work I don't know what is.

5.

And last but certainly not least - another new advertiser for your stalking! In a cute lil twist of events the face behind this blog is another Megan and another blog with Ramblings in the title so that's fate and fun and all that no? Check out Reflections & Ramblings over here!

4.

So if you don't know Megan she's a twenty something gal much like me and you if I know my readers well and her blog features a magnitude of content from mental health so self care to lifestyle and her Friday Favourites. There's something for you to read for sure and you can check it all out via her handy tabs at the top of her blog!

3.

I always like to share a social media when promoting my advertisers and I have chosen all Instagrams this month cos frankly, these gals are all killing it on their own grids. If you're into bright colours, THAT 'sat on the bed with a cuppa and a book' pose I am very partial to and some real life then Megan's account is a solid follow for you She's uber close to 500 followers so go give her a like and top her over whilst you're at it!

2.

As a way of creating regular content on her blog Megan used The Blurt Foundation's self care prompts and created blogs centred around it every day and they make for a cracking read! You can read her day one here which explains a bit more about the challenge and also handily has 10 facts about her which is great if this is your first time on her blog.

1.

And finally if you're as into Favourites posts at the end of every month as I am then you'll love Megan's take on it. She shares all manner of her favourite things like her fav outfits, her fav meals, days out, experiences, books, things she's bought.....all kind of things. April was a good one to read as she'd had her twenty first birthday and she shared how she eeked it out like any good birthday. And can we plz talk about that incredible birthday cake though? Catch up with April's roundup here!
