5 Minutes With My October Advertisers
We're very rapidly approaching a whole year of advertising on Twenty Something Meltdown and I have just filled every last advertising slot until the New Year. It's still a bit mad people will book that far in advance to advertise with me but rest assured it's all greatly appreciated. But more on that next month when it has actually been a year of advertising.
This month I have a bunch of returning advertisers and one new fresh face for you - so make sure you go and check them all out!
5.
Oh hello hello who's this familiar face in the sexy Gold slot? (On a side note I typoed that as Golf slot before I edited it and it made me lol) Lazy Thoughts is back again but this time she nabbed the top spot for her very own and doesn't it look nice? Megan has advertised with me a million times now so you can read about her way back when from December, March, April, June, July and September.
4.
In a nice turn of events this month whilst Megan is advertising with me I am actually advertising with her too! Megan offers advertising packages every month for under a tenner and each month she does a round up full of questions to get to know the advertiser better and it's such a lovely experience this is actually my second time on her sidebar (so comes well recommended.)
3.
Last month Megan wrote two really useful blog posts on Pinterest and how to get the most of it for your blog and they're well worth reading and pinning (!!) for future use. The first was on using Pinterest for your blog which is full of handy tips on how to make the most of the site when it comes to blog promotion - something both me and her have been very successful from. The second post is a much more step by step advice guide on how to create Pinnable images which is key to getting popular content and very worth while the time it takes to create them (which FYI gets less and less the more used to the system you become).
2.
When writing this post I actually became aware I didn't follow Lazy Thoughts on Facebook...... You know when you just assume you are because why wouldn't you be? Anyway that's been rectified and if you want Megan's content all thrown straight at your feed for you to feast on then I recommend you do exactly the same. Drop her a like here!

I always bang on about my love for this gal's Instagram and bullet journal posts in these round ups so I have deliberately avoided it this time to give you all something new. Undoubtedly my favourite post on Lazy Thoughts the past month was My Biggest Blogging Mistakes cos lord knows I've made a lot of them too - in fact I challenge you to tell me you HAVEN'T made one of them yourself.

The first (and only) new face to my side bar this month! Linda from Threaded Roads contacted me AGES ago asking for this advertising slot and it feels like forever since she sent me her links and I discovered her blog. If she's a new face to you too you can check her out here.
4.
I am always very nosey when it comes to looking at people's blogs and the design they chose and the way they set everything out and this time it's been no exception. Linda has a variety of tabs across the top of her blog, all the usual culprits like Home and About, but she also has 3 tabs where you'd normally have your blog themes eg Bullet Journal or Rants if it was me. Linda has Live, Laugh and Love and my friends, that intrigued me immediately.
3.
I immediately clicked on Love because I am the nosiest of all nosy bitches and straight away clicked on the first post which is all about adult friendships. I think this is something everyone is feeling more increasingly as they get older and I know I am. I still have a large friendship group when I think about it; uni friends, school friends, friends from my year out etc so whilst I don't feel like I've lost mine, I feel like I need to make more effort with them. I think Linda has hit the nail on the head - you're told to prioritise family and love and friends come third but good god we need our friends. They're very valuable and we need to make time to love and cherish them so I'd recommend you read the post because it definitely makes you want to pick up the phone and call your childhood bestie.
2.
Whilst having a bit of a binge read I also came across this one about being a bridesmaid which had me giggling all the way through. I've been a bridesmaid twice and I've been penned in to do it again at least once more and I've been lucky not to have some hideous frilly satin thing as a dress or have a bridezilla on my hands but this post really brought a smile to my face.
1.
I mentioned in a recent post that I have a hit and miss love affair with Pinterest and when I'm in love I have a good old stalk of new accounts. Linda has a whole board dedicated simply to images of ice cream and that is something I am very much on board with.

It has been SO long since the lovely Sarah from Just Buttons advertised with me - in fact she was my very first Gold advertiser way back when in November last year. You can read what I wrote about her here and she's also going to be gracing my sidebar every single month until February!!
4.
Since advertising with me all those many moons ago Sarah has had a jazzy new design, changed loads of her links and got a bloody lovely new logo. I've been a big fan of her blog since last year when she first got in contact with me but it's only going from strength to strength these days.
3.
Maybe you know Sarah best for all her Mum and baby content or the snaps she shares of her son on Instagram. I LOVE Mum blogs without having a family of my own and Sarah's is one of my favs. Her son Oliver features heavily in her posts and he pulls some of the funniest faces that have had me howling the past few weeks. He also has a creepy toy that won't shut up but the less said about that the better..... Read Oliver's latest update here!
2.
And if cute bubba's aren't your thing (what) never fear - Sarah's blog also has a healthy mix of lifestyle thrown in for good measure too. From a day out at a pumpkin patch to how to get a good nights sleep to my latest fav - this one on bullying. It's not a nice topic, a lot of us have experienced it and I think it's very brave of Sarah to talk about her experiences here.
1.
I mentioned Sarah's Instagram above but it's well worth a follow if you aren't already! It's currently chocka with photos of her little one pulling faces and running round and it's very heavily featuring pumpkins at the moment which is fitting for Autumn no? Follow her here!

Oh Llinos - what a pleasure to be advertising such a lovely person yet again. Llinos first advertised with me months and months ago in January of this year and you can read what I wrote about her (and the links I shared) here.
4.
I mentioned this briefly last time she advertised with me but Llinos is one of THE most supportive bloggers out there. She comments on basically every post I ever write and I've never been able to keep up with her return the favour the way she does for me. She's super lovely and if you want a piece of that support you can even advertise with her now! Drop her a tweet if that sounds right up your alley (which it should be....)
3.
Hands down my favourite post Llinos has written lately is on Pet Peeves. It got me loling when I was reading and got me thinking about my own - maybe a blog post idea in the future? Slow walkers is undoubtedly one of my pet peeves along with Llinos - we're both partial to weaving through people on Cardiff high street by the sound of it!
2.
Llinos recently shared a post on some things she's watched lately and always looking for film and TV recommendations I had a nosey. She's watched LOADS. I thought there'd be like 5 things in there but there's loads so you're bound to find something you fancy the sound of. I particularly enjoyed her analysis of Diana, a film I watched when I was in uni and her thoughts very much echoed my own....
1.
There is nothing that shouts 'Gwennan' more than a tab on a blog dedicated to bullet journal or art or scrapbooking - or in Llinos' case; creativity. Llinos is a wizard at crochet and she often shares images and blog posts including her latest creations. Her unicorns are my absolute fav and she should 100% be selling them because I have no doubt kids (and twenty something gals) will be buying them.

One of my favvvv bloggers Steph is back to advertise; the last time she was here was December last year. I had a right old lol reading it back because I basically just gushed about how amazing her eyebrows are and legit, still feel the same. That girl <3 Read about that here!
4.
Don't get me wrong I love a good niche- there's something about somebody that's SO on brand and knowledgeable about what they know but it's blogs with a variety of content that get me first and foremost (hi, have you read my blog?) Steph's blog is one of my favs because of this very reason, she writes about mental health, food, reviews, beauty, life, work. families, blogging....legit a bit of everything and it always gets me clicking.
3.
I am all about Autumn if you hadn't been able to tell and Steph shared this post at the end of the September on 15 reasons why it's the best season (and it's full of Autumnal leaves if that's your thing). Bobble hats, ankle boots -in every colour- , pjs, blankets - Steph is all about that life but it was the lack of boob sweat or chub rub that really got me. Praise the lord my friends.
2.
Lately I feel like I have noticed Steph posting more and more about mental health and whilst it's always been on her blog I just feel like it's more and more prominent these days and I am living for it. Steph is very open about her own mental health journey, whether that be how she's managing it, things that are triggering and also what types of medication etc shes has tried so well worth a nosey if you feel like it'd be helpful to you.
1.
D'ya ever follow someone on Instagram and like all their posts and they like all of yours and you see it all over your feed but you never actually click on their profile? That's what I've realised I do with Steph. I follow her, I see her content, I always like her snaps but it wasn't until I went on her profile to find this link that I realised I never look at it all as one grid. And omg what a grid. The theme she's got going on at the moment fits SO well together and it's a heady mix of white and burnt orange (my current fav colour) and no wonder she has over 2K followers (and it should be way more).

Oh HI what's this? A member of the blog squad on the advertising sidebar? V cute no? I feel like a lot of people might not realise Nina is a member of our bloggers Whatsapp group because we haven't actually met yet because she's been on a hen do both for #BloggerPitP and the weekend away butttt she is, she's there and we constantly spam her with our incessant ramblings errday <3
4.
Nina has recently moved into the world of fashion blogging and shared this post (complete with very sassy snaps) on her new jumper dress. I am a big fan of the old jumper dress for the very reasons Nina outlines here; it's soooo transitional and you can really get your dollah's worth out of them as the season gets colder. She also shared a photo from this post on Instagram and wrote a very witty caption that had me giggling for a good 5 minutes.
3.
And whilst we're talking of Instagram it'd be rude not to mention hers wouldn't it? It's very much a lifestyle account if you ever saw one with shares of where she's been, what's she's been eating (and drinking) and all her travels. Drop her a cheeky follow here!
2.
Nina's latest post is one of her best imo but maybe because I love a good list and a bit of sarcasm and humour but it's definitely a corker. It's about blogging things she should be better at and includes all the important things like replying to comments, SEO and, uhm, writing blog posts....... Read here!
1.
You might have remembered seeing Nina's face around this ere blog before and that's because she was a guest blogger for me a million years ago in the summer of 2016. Luckily her content was evergreen so worth a second share now and it's all about Broadstairs and why you should be visiting it (or at least put it on your list for next summer when the weather is a bit more like it is in the photos!)
