5 Minutes With My Advertisers - December 2017.
It's the last month of the year and the last 2017 advertising round up I'm writing and wtf where did the time go?
This year I feel like my advertising packages have properly taken off, I have a LOT of returning faces and I rarely have to promote my deals to get them filled and I hope that's a testament to the work I put in and maybe shows people actually find it useful? Either that or ya'll just pay money to have me say nice things about me no?
But anyway, onto December's bunch which features a lot of logos you'll probably have seen before in some shape or another (just maybe some more recent than others).
5.
Holy moly it's been a long time since this little gem was advertising on my blog! Way way way back a whole year ago if you want to be exact - it seems to be a Christmas tradition for me and Jess to reunite at Christmas and I could not be happier! Read what I shared about her way back when in December 2016.
4.
Inkeeping with our tradition, Jess' blog has taken a very festive turn of late full of Christmassy blog posts - my favourite being an advent treasure hunt. Ok so it might be a bit late for you to have a go this year but it's definitely one to bookmark as an idea for Christmas 2018 (soz not soz)
3.
I always have a proper stalk of my advertisers blogs, whether I read every time they post (like Jess) or not. I tend to read blogs via Twitter links or Bloglovin or on my phone so it's nice to get a feel for someone's blog via my laptop and in this case I discovered Jess' 'craft' tab. All posts I've read before but SO handy to have them in one place - search her DIYs here!
2.
If you're into your seasonal Instagram's then you'd do no wrong in following Jess if you don't already. At the moment it's filled with Christmas trees galore but most of the time it's cute photos of her adorable dog so if that's your shabang too make sure you're following.
1.
And if you're more Grinch than Santa this time of year then never fear - Jess has you covered on all bases. If you look back into her archives earlier in the year you'll see a heady mix of lifestyle, crafts and chatty catch up posts (the latter being the reason I started following her FYI). Keep an eye out for her next Christmas....... ;)

I always share when an advertiser has been with me before as a chance for you to go back and see the links I shared and what I said about them and Sarah from Just Buttons is no different. She first advertised with me in November 2016 and then again in October this year and last month.
4.
I always like to share a recent blog post when I'm writing these round ups and actually I read one from Sarah just last night that I really wanted to share. Sarah has been really open about her desire to loose weight and so has started sharing her journey with slimming world and I really enjoyed her latest post. I am super keen to start eating better without eating salad 24/7 so I am really looking forward to what she's shares - and I'll be cheering on as she moves toward her goal!
3.
In Christmas related blog news (because hey it's December did you know?) Sarah has shared a toddler christmas gift list which won't break the bank. I have a 2 and a half year old niece so shopping for a little person I am no stranger to but these gifts are banging. I want the Cath Kidston backpack in my size and the drum kit is seriously looking like it might be added to my stash for my niece. So if you have your own little angels or need to buy for someone else - this needs to be your first port of call.
2.
I always share Sarah's Instagram but seriously her baby is so cute I can't not share it. The autumnal snaps are gone and in are winter shots of him all bundled up by the sea and in the woods and his little hat omfg. And whilst we're on the topic, she's also shared a post on using photography as a tool for inspiration and I could not agree more.
1.
Don't be sad that Sarah's on her way out - no she's signed up for January too! So you can kick the new year off in the right way with my advertisers yet again.

I'm sure you have no idea who Hailey is cos it's not like she's been around here much. Lol jk read all about this lovely gal from November and December 2016, January, February, March, September and November.
4.
Hailey's last post which says goodbye to November starts with how snowy it is with her and omfg so jealous. I've said it before and I'll probably mention it every time she advertises with me but I love Hailey's end of the month round up - it's always nice to catch up with what she's been up to and she always shares great articles (my fav this month being accurate statements about millennials)
3.
Hailey has a big birthday coming up early next year so she's celebrated early by sharing 60 reasons why adulting sucks. There's some really properly funny ones but my favourites have to be 'no time for naps', not getting free balloons and feeling like an old lady when you get out of bed. Relatable.
2.
It need not come as a surprise that I am sharing Christmas content everywhere so if you're not following Hailey on Pinterest you should be. I am pinning everything festive lately and basically nothing else so follow her Christmas board if you're also feeling like an elf then that's the one for you.
1.
And if you're not following Hailey on Twitter yet then make sure you are - she's super supportive, super talkative, sends great memes and when she and I get our acts together enough to do Twitter chats we're actually pretty funny.

Victoria from Lylia Rose has advertised with me a few times now starting off with March earlier in the year and then last month as well.
4.
My favourite thing about Lylia's blog is her posts on how she makes money from home and her working mum's series. She recently shared one on her November income report and I looove it when bloggers do this. I think it's great when people are transparent with their income from blogging or their side hustle and Victoria is smashing it with hers. Read here!
3.
I've talked about this before but I am forever in support of bloggers with businesses and Victoria has a business on her blog selling fabulous scarves and this year she's made a gift list for them too. My personal fav is the peach coloured polka dot one with the navy one with rose gold details coming a close second - you can shop her gift list here.
2.
If you know me you'll know I'm into my interiors and I flippin love reading them no matter the subject. This month I really enjoyed reading Victoria's blog post about features for kids rooms. Ok so no I don't have a child of my own but hey - never stopped me pinning kids rooms ideas or reading blog posts on the topic. My favourite idea is the chalkboard wall which 1. I have seen in some friends houses and I love it and 2. I want one of my own.
1.
As well as sharing her blog income and how she makes money from home, Victoria also hosts a load of giveaways, lots of which are linked on her Twitter. Make sure you're following her to be in with a chance of winning some goodies!

Another familiar face over on the sidebar is Ellen from Feel Goods Vintage. Ellen has advertised with me for ages now and you can read all the links I've shared with you here from April, May, June, July, August, September and November.
4.
OH HI IT'S CHRISTMAS DID I MENTION THAT. Yes I am sharing more Christmas content and Ellen has written this one on 6 reasons why you need to visit B&M for your Christmas decor. I always forget about B&M for cheap decor but I definitely am making a trip to my local one for some of these goodies! Not only are they reasonably priced they're also v sparkly and I have been after a Nutcracker for ages that isn't like a million pounds!
3.
Last month I mentioned that Ellen has a blog series about why female bloggers inspire me (and interviewed me!) and now she has created a link up. You can read all about how you can join in here but it's all about female bloggers and cracking content and v much worth a go!
2.
Everyone knows the struggle of taking photos for your blog in this winter light so if you haven't got the time stock photos maybe is your way to go. It's always hard to know where you stand with stock photos so Ellen has shared some resources for finding free ones that are good to go. Read here!
1.
Last month I said Ellen was signed up to advertise with me this month and in January but since then she's signed up for months and months on end and actually she's going to be gracing this blog until June 2018!!!!

A first time advertiser! Michelle might be a familiar face to some of you or you might have seen her on my blog before but this is the first time she's signed up for an advertising package. Way back when when I was hosting guest bloggers once a month following my summer 2016 blog series Michelle wrote a post for me all about how to create a glasses makeup look which you can read here.
4.
Something I knew before but definitely always forget is that Michelle is also like me from South Wales! You might if you're lucky get the odd snap of it over on her Instagram but for lifestyle content and the odd selfie (nailing that glasses makeup look) then she's your gal.
3.
This month like a lot of the blogging community Michelle is taking part in Blogmas - except with a twist. Instead of committing to every day until Christmas Michelle is taking on a half challenge posting every other day. This not only fills my quota for mentioning all things festive in this round up but also makes my job as an advertising host the easiest job in the world and she's constantly got content out for me to promote! Check out her Blogmas here!
2.
As well as working on her own festive content this month, Michelle has put together a guide of recommendations of other bloggers for you to keep up with. I loooove the support she's given and the fact she's sharing other people's works and there's some great recommendations for new loves for you on there. Oh and she's only gone and given this gal a little mention too <3
1.
And if you're wondering aside from seasonal content (which she is ace at) what else Michelle writes about then you can have a look at her archives to see if anything tickles your fancy. From outfit posts and product reviews to travel, holidays and lifestyle pieces she's pretty much got it all covered.
