5 Minutes With My Advertisers - February 2018.

It's that time of the month again my friends.

No not that time of the month. It's time to introduce my advertisers for the next few weeks. For me, those lost few days in February feels like a month in itself and February feels like it's over and done with in a flash so really idk why you crazy lot ever sign up to advertise in Feb. But I love ya all for it anyway.

Here's the new and returning faces advertising on my sidebar this month.

Twenty Something Meltdown Is Two!

My blogs second official birthday cropped up on me very quickly and uhm, actually passed me by. It was in fact yesterday that this little blog turned 2 and I celebrated by erm.....forgetting. I class this as my 'proper' blog beginnings and thus we're somehow only 2 years in? Seems like a life time.

This time last year I wrote a 'my first year in numbers' blog post which I really enjoyed looking back on so I decided it was the most appropriate way to celebrate it this year as well.

5 Easy Ways To Update Your Blog.

I don't want to keep harping on about 'new year new you' but isn't that what the entire of January is for? Until February when we're all like lol new year same old me at least anyway.

But there's no escaping the feeling that at this time of the year you have the chance to refresh everything and your blog is no different. By the time I hit December 31st I was desperate to have a refresh of my site and so come the beginning of 2018 I set about updating in in the smallest of ways that maybe you didn't even notice but made a huge difference to me.

Here's 5 teeny tiny ways to update your blog that doesn't involve changing your entire theme;

Social Media & Blog Statistics - December 2017

Firstly before we get into the ol' blog stats report I just want to apologise a lil, or maybe explain is a better word, for my lack of blog posts this month. I wanted to get stuck into the new year and I really have.....in all other aspects of my life.

5 Minutes With My January Advertisers 2018.

How we're already on my first advertisers post of 2018 is beyond me. It feels like 2 minutes since I was writing the first one of 2017 and yet here we are in a fresh new year with (some) fresh faces and lots of fresh makeovers.

I am excited to be in 2018, I think maybe you've gathered that from my recent blog posts and my Insta stories but I am also really excited for my advertisers. Lots of the girls who grace my sidebar return month on month and it gives me a chance to really watch their blogs change, develop and grow and it's great when these are some of my fav bloggers and online pals.

7 Ways To Spread Festive Joy Online.

Christmas is a time for spreading festive joy and this year I think we're embracing it more than ever. I've seen more anti advents and good deeds for every day of December than I have gift guides and wishlists and this year I am extending the festive spirit to my online pals.

The squad have a secret santa on the go (omfg I am so close to spoiling it) and I have cards on the way to bloggers all over the UK and now I have a tiny list of 7 lovely things you can do online to make someones Christmas.

The 12 Days Of Christmas.

Ok so traditionally the 12 days of Christmas are the 12 following the big day but what's the point in me waxing lyrical about festivities that have passed? My 12 days will run from tomorrow right through to Christmas Eve itself and looks something a little like this......

5 Minutes With My Advertisers - December 2017.

It's the last month of the year and the last 2017 advertising round up I'm writing and wtf where did the time go?

This year I feel like my advertising packages have properly taken off, I have a LOT of returning faces and I rarely have to promote my deals to get them filled and I hope that's a testament to the work I put in and maybe shows people actually find it useful? Either that or ya'll just pay money to have me say nice things about me no?

But anyway, onto December's bunch which features a lot of logos you'll probably have seen before in some shape or another (just maybe some more recent than others).

5 Minutes With My Advertisers - November 2017.

Can you quite believe it's been a whole year since I started advertising on my blog? To know people enjoy advertising with me and especially a lot of them find it really helpful and good for their own blog growth is the best and I am excited to continue for another year!

There's Change Afoot.....

There's change coming on the old blog pals.

You might (if you're a regular reader) have noticed I've been slightly absent the past few days. There hasn't been a new post since Thursday and before that there's been gaps in what is normally a very full schedule.

But this is the type of activity you're going to be seeing on twenty something meltdown in the coming months.

The Holy Grail Of Blogging.

This is a topic I spoke about with my blogging baes on our weekend away in September, a conversation we had then and one we've had on Whatsapp since. The holy grail of blogging is something I firmly believe exists and I've seen a few bloggers talk about it before, either when they've noticed it too or when they've hit it.

So what is it in my mind?

5 Minutes With My October Advertisers

We're very rapidly approaching a whole year of advertising on Twenty Something Meltdown and I have just filled every last advertising slot until the New Year. It's still a bit mad people will book that far in advance to advertise with me but rest assured it's all greatly appreciated. But more on that next month when it has actually been a year of advertising.

This month I have a bunch of returning advertisers and one new fresh face for you - so make sure you go and check them all out!

How To Motivate Yourself Back Into Blogging.

This was not the post I intended to write this morning, that was titled 'things I contradict myself on' but I just sat down to pen it and I just didn't have the motivation. It's partly because we went on a 3 hour round trip at 9pm last night in the pissing rain so I'm like a zombie and it's partly because I can't remember what thought sparked the title and what examples I had.

But it got me thinking about blog motivation and about what makes us want to write and what to do if we don't have the right vibe. So here's a couple of fail safe ways I motivate myself back into blogging when the mojo is somewhat lacking.

What It's Really Like Going Away With Bloggers.

"My parents said I shouldn't talk to strangers online.....so I booked a holiday with them."

This very much became the quote of the weekend when I went to Hampshire with my blogging pals. Ok so we weren't all strangers this weekend but we were at one point. Last summer Sarah had the idea of hosting a bloggers picnic and created a Twitter DM with us in it and the rest as they say is history. We were all game for organising the picnic and as most of you know, we hosted BloggersPitP (Bloggers Picnic In The Park) together in London in 2016.

Having met in real life on the most part we made the ultimate commitment and gave out our phone numbers and made the transition to Whatsapp. We haven't really stopped talking since then, if one member of the group goes out you can regularly expect to come back to 300+ messages.

So we did what any friendship group does when they're hankering to escape real life and take loads of candid photos - we booked a weekend away in Hampshire in the countryside.

I thought today I'd offer you up a lil photo diary and a bit of an explanation on what I did on my weekend away with 4 bloggers.

5 Minutes With My August Advertisers.

Bloody hell my advertisers have been actual angels this month. I decided very very late on that I was going to have a blog makeover so I had to email these 4 gals and check with them it was ok that I wouldn't have a sidebar for them to advertise on for a few days and they were sooooo fine with it.
